Benjamin Manning is an AI researcher, educator, and engineer with more than 30 years of industry experience and over two decades of teaching expertise. As a research faculty member in Georgia Tech’s College of Computing OMSCS program, he develops cutting-edge multi-agent and generative AI systems, teaches graduate-level AI and data science courses, and mentors the next generation of AI innovators.

Manning is the founder of multiple AI ventures including AgileHippo.io, GradPathAI, and CareSyncAI, and is known for pioneering work in multi-agent reinforcement learning, trustworthy AI security, and edge AI orchestration. His research has expanded into swarm intelligence for autonomous systems, with a particular focus on designing secure, coordinated multi-agent swarms for lunar surface operations, which enables resilient infrastructure development, distributed sensing, and autonomous decision-making in extreme environments.

His teaching blends hands-on technical rigor with human-centered design, helping students translate foundational AI concepts into practical, production-ready applications.
